Visual documentation of the human experience is the first responsibility of the visual artist. The complexity of living requires a lifetime of philosophical pondering. Life is beautiful and hideous.  Life is subtle and shocking. It is the great ephemeral mystery. Life evolves and expands. Life is cyclical and dynamic. Life demands action.  Art is the culmination of everything that life inspires. It is for this reason that I am a painter.

It is my obsession with color that drives me to explore the possibilities of each blank canvas.   It is my fascination with science and spirituality that conceptualizes each composition.  It is my passion for understanding that propels me to create.
